BERLIN, NH | ALTERNATIVE SERVICES
Why this framework is important:
We’ve compiled a list of situation-specific, community based social services, which can be used in place of police services. Research has shown that replacing police presence with other services can cut down on crime and save communities money.
Not only that, but some police services actively endanger community members, and calling an alternative service can offer at-risk individuals specific, compassionate care that police officers are not trained to provide.
